What is it ?

This is your mailbox.
Why should I use it ?

It allows you to recieve E-Mail addressed to you@yourdomain.com.
How do I use it ?

To use your POP3 mailbox you will need to create a new account in your
E-Mail software ( for example Outlook Express ). The below steps are for
Outlook Express but other programs should be similar :
1) Open up Outlook Express
2) Select Tools then Accounts from the menu at the top.
3) From the pop up box select Add then Mail...
4) Type in the name as you would like it to appear on any outgoing E-Mail.
Click next.
5) Select ' I already have an E-Mail address that I'd like to use '
6) Type in 'Webmaster@<yoursite>'. Click next.
7) Make sure it is set to ' My incoming mail server is a POP3 server '
8) Incoming mail : www.<yoursite>
9) Outgoing mail : whatever you use now ( probably something like
mail.host.com ). Click next. Please note that not all ISP's will support
e-mail relaying.
10) Enter your <username> and <password> .
11) make sure that the SPA box is NOT checked.
12) click next.
And that is it, just replace <yoursite> with yoursite name (
EG oriweb.com ), <username> with the username we supplied
you, and <password> with the password we supplied you.
By default we set up your account so that <anything>@<yoursite>
is sent to this POP3 mailbox.
IMPORTANT !
There are certain aliases that are reserved for system use and you will
not be able to use them, these are :
root, bin, daemon, adm, lp, sync, shutdown, halt, mail, news, uucp,
operator, games, gopher, ftp, httpd, nobody, postgres, admin, pop, named,
system, manager, dumper, decode, sys, ingres.
E-Mail Forwarding

You can set up your account so that E-Mail sent to your mailbox can be
forwarded to another address.
1) Go to the Admin panel ( www.site.com/siteadmin )
2) Click on the little blue envelope for E-Mail settings.
3) In the ' forward to box ' put the E-Mail address you would like all
mail sent to.
4) click ' save changes' Now any mail will be forwarded to their address.
