FTP
File Transfer Protocol, this is the way you will probably
be moving files to your hosting package, unless you are using FrontPage or
Publisher. If you are not sure what it is all about check this section
out.
FrontPage
FrontPage and Publisher from MicroSoft need to have
special extensions installed on you hosting package to enable you to use
all their features.

CGI
Scripts written in this can perform a multitude of tasks,
from simple form to E-Mail which allows you to have a form on your page.
Once someone fills in the form and hits 'submit' this script will take
what has entered in the form and send it to you in an E-Mail. Other
scripts include auctions, password protection, guestbook etc.
SSI
A special sequence of characters ( Tokens ) can be placed
on an HTML page to perform a variety of tasks such as sending an E-Mail or
getting the current time. All pages containing SSI Tokens MUST have the
extension .shtml so that the server can identify it and perform the
necessary action.

The Control Panel
Each Virtual Domain we host comes with it's own Control
Panel from which you can set up various options for your account such as
E-Mail forwarding, Autoresponder, New Users etc.

POP3 Mailbox
Each Domain comes with it's own POP3 mailbox, this means
that you can recieve E-Mail of the form : you@yourdomain.com .
Data Transfer
2Gb a month may not seem much, however it is enough to
cope with around 40,000 page hits a month.

information securely through your webpages. Most often used for credit
card and other sensitive information.
